Casper Pedersen: "I knew I was more explosive"

"It's great to wear the polka dot jersey, so this morning I wanted to keep fighting for the KOM points to make sure I kept it. There's going to be the team time trial, another day when it will be nice to have it on my shoulders, and that will also allow me to keep it. I know it will become much more difficult when the tougher climbs come along. Yesterday I also wanted to try my luck for the stage, but that wasn't the goal today.

It was a nice battle with Mathis Le Berre. On the kind of climbs we had yesterday and today, I knew I was more explosive and had an advantage. I don't know if that would be the case on longer climbs, it might have been different."
