Georg Steinhauser: “I managed to survive and I still had good legs”

“Days like this are not easy. Crashes, crosswinds… It had everything. I managed to survive all of this and I still had the legs for a good effort. I’m super happy with how I could end this stage.

[The white jersey] definitely feels special. Last year was not my best year. So to be back and to wear a leader’s jersey in a World Tour race like Paris-Nice is special. If you have a jersey, you need to do everything to defend it, and that’s what I’m gonna do in the coming days.”
