Tadej Pogacar : « I’m very satisfied with my form »

On the sprint, there was a good chance but it was headwind and only two of three were working so there was not a good chance to go to the line but it was still a nice effort. Jonas said he was not pulling and after a few turns I saw the group was coming back so there was no sense in continuing if not everybody was pulling towards the finish.

I’m very satisfied with my form. First I was not very confident but with each acceleration I felt that the legs were coming back. I hope I can carry on like this in the next days.

Neilson Powless is a guy who just races aggressively, on instinct and he makes the show. He could be more conservative and go for the GC but he tried to surprise us and go for the stage victory and it’s super nice to see. I love to see that we race more fun these days. And sometimes it works. You never know.
