Sam Bennett: "I'm really proud"

"I had really bad legs the last two days coming from the heat to the cold. But I knew the form was there. The legs were a lot better today and this was my last real sprint opportunity. The boys did a fantastic job in the last kilometer. They knew what they were doing. It was a great team effort today. It was actually a great job all day. I'm delighted. It's nice to come back after I had to give up a year ago. I was sick last year but I decided to come all the same as this is Paris-Nice. There is strong competition here. I knew I had to compete with the best and I'm really proud with the job we did today."
